Studio FAQ

What is the Post Road Loft?

G. John Slagle's Post Road Loft is a natural-light photo and digital cinema studio ten minutes from the Las Vegas Strip — 20 ft ceilings, bamboo floors, a fully equipped kitchen, and a luxury green room and hair-and-makeup suite, with a New York editorial sensibility throughout. The room where the Will the Show, Lisa Foiles, and Jordan King portrait series were shot. Available by inquiry for select editorial, fashion, and brand productions.

Can I book the studio without working with Slagle?

Most clients book the loft as part of a production with Slagle behind the camera — that's when the room works hardest. The room is also available on its own for select outside productions, by inquiry and case by case. Email gjohn@slaglevideo.com with the project, dates, and crew size.

What is in the room?

Roughly 1,400 sqft of open floor, 20 ft ceilings, bamboo floors throughout, south-facing daylight bays, a 12 ft white cyc wall, a luxury green room, a hair-and-makeup suite with lighted mirror, wardrobe area with clothing rack, a fully equipped kitchen, private restroom, fast wifi, air conditioning, and off-street parking. Profoto B10x lighting kit, modifiers, V-flats, c-stands, sandbags, seamless paper, and tethering setup are available on inquiry.

Where is the Post Road Loft located?

Ten minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, with off-street parking. The exact address is shared once a production is confirmed.

Can I shoot video at the Post Road Loft?

Yes. The space has been used for music videos, BTS coverage, and brand films. The cyc wall and natural-light bays make it well suited to small to mid-size video productions.

How do I inquire about a session or the studio?

Email gjohn@slaglevideo.com with the project, dates, crew size, and any lighting or production needs. Editorial and brand inquiries receive a personal reply within two business days.
